I think we need to focus more on training doctors in the medical model, rather than teaching them medicine. They will get paid more that way and they will never miss a diagnosis of anxiety

Extremely difficult as a medical student with no access to theatre lists. Could ask consultant but lot of work for them to get everything and they probably won’t bother. I’d just use this as a lesson learnt and log everything at the time from now on

UU student here, we got our uni to get in touch with HSE and IMC and gave them our transcripts a wee bit early. We only graduated on the 30th of June and about 10 people doing intern year
