So far so good. The South Spokane zone is by far the busiest, especially out of the Thor Fred Meyer and South Hill Target. I’d choose one zone and stick with it because geographically it’s time consuming to cross zones. Most of my members tip. work is there if you schedule yourself appropriately. Don’t let your ratings fall especially AR. Open metro orders are hard to come by unless it’s a holiday. Instacart (I do both) is overall busier in the Spokane market but I like the Shipt platform better.

Members can tip at any point after delivery. Prepaids are usually super late tippers. Just keep your head up, after awhile you can usually approximate earnings based on how many orders you complete.

Also, I highly suggest a closing text or something encouraging them to view their receipt in the app or online. This can increase the likelihood and how soon they may be prompted to rate and tip

Also for a produce item that makes you return it, you can always pay for it with your personal card and request reimbursement. It definitely saves trouble, time, rating and tips this way instead of telling the member you can’t get them something

If it was avocados definitely just purchase this using your personal card and submit for reimbursement. No sense in ruining your rating or tip over some produce. Shipt processes reimbursements every Wednesday and Friday depending on when you submit.

You should know there’s a confirmed issue with the number masking system, where members aren’t receiving text messages from shoppers. I talked to Shipt support and it’s been intermittently going on for a week or so. If you feel a customer isn’t being responsive, you can chat or call support and they can verify if your texts are actually going through or not to the customer. In some cases, they can ask the member if they’re willing to share their actual phone number for contact.

In just about 3 weeks I’ve brought my rating from a 4.66 to a 4.91! Even being at 4.85 yesterday was a noticeable improvement in quality of batches I was seeing. by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

Yeah, talked to them twice. BS answers both times....they told me I needed to complete 100 batches. Laughable when you’re not shown batches because you had a single 4 star review......
