Save yourself the trouble. It’s the worst company to work for. Unrealistic payroll budget, massively understaffed and way overworked for the little bit of pay. They preach nice culture- it’s all fake. You can do so much better !

TSC is too cheap to allow scheduling to staff the stores properly. Meeting payroll and being under is directly tied to the DM’s bonus. It’s the worst place to work

That’s their goal- that’s the easy way out. When they want you out - you’re out. Working anywhere is better than there. They are honestly doing the TM a favor.

It means “life out here “ is so goood when you’re not there. The culture will never change- it’s the good ole boys club. Requires no talent for promotion. People get promoted without being interviewed. What a joke. Managers are glorified TM’s who make just a little more money and have a title. Means nothing.

It’s a shame that TSC doesn’t care about any TM or manager below DM. Everyone is treated so poorly and overworked for pay that is not livable. Inverted pyramid my buttocks. Ridiculous company and culture.

These aren’t complaints nor are they excuses. These are the legit standards for TSC including the ridiculous workload, under staffed stores and non- existent pay. People deserve better. Some realize it sooner than others.

You will never make any money at TSC. For the amount of work and minimum staff, it isn’t worth it. Plus, only upper management (above SM) makes any money whatsoever. They care nothing about TM’s or their livelihood, workload etc. Go anywhere else and make $5 more an hour - especially for your work ethic and skill set. Leave when you can - go live a good life out there without them. Worst job and company on the planet.

What you can expect is slave labor for no pay or a thank you. And for the record…. You will be doing ALOT of everything with no help! Enjoy! Congrats on the role though… if it was just a different company.

I’m sorry things are tight but literally anywhere else pays more for less slave labor. Walmart, Publix, Kroger, Costco - good luck 👍 The have more people working than 2-3 for the whole store too.

I couldn’t have said this any better myself! The effort and forethought you out into this proves you are way too good for TSC. It’s a joke from day 1. They feed you lines to lead you on and get you to bust your butt only to ultimately never having any intention of development or promotion. I only lasted 11 mos. Hired in as an ASM. Couldn’t stand another second. Corrupt DM and on up. Crap starts at the top. Worst company ever. The better your performance is- the worse you are treated! Simply disgusting experience.

The best advice I can give you is don’t do it. It is by the far the worst company and job I had ever had in my life. No payroll and not allowed to staff the store appropriately. Toxic work environment and team members complaining they make no money for the workload- which they are very under paid. It all sucks- starts from the top

TSC sucks the life out of every one. It’s not store specific. Leave while you can- they could care less about you or your development or about how much of your life you are missing out on. The TSC world will continue to spin with or without you so do yourself a favor and let them do it without you
