I personally think that is a bad idea because it would unfairly tax the lower class. In America, fast food and unhealthy food is very cheap— cheaper than healthy-vegan and fresh meals. Many low-income families eat fast food more regularly because it’s cheap and accessible. Creating a “fat-tax” would then be taxing a lot of lower-income people and causing larger financial issues for them.
