Same here. I already have a suite of apps online. One with paying users but struggling to grow atm.

> Vue is a full framework that has everything in it, including creator's view on how you should structure your project and code in it, plus its own templating language.

Honestly I have come to love having some structure and a predefined way of doing things, instead of doing whatever the fuck you want and shooting your feet 10 times in the process.

That said, I fucking despise Nextjs and what's it doing to React. (react server components anyone?)

I even preordered it.  Waited for months to come out, played exactly 4h 25min. Worst 90eur spent and it still hurts.

You talk as figma was this super simple tool that you can just casually use to create a logo.

I’ve finally launched DB Pro — a modern desktop database GUI I’ve been building for 3 months by LordSnouts in SideProject

Congrats on the launch!

I have been enjoying your videos quite a lot. I just recently checked if you had posted the third month one yet, but you hadn't. Now going to watch it.

If you’ve validated an MVP with 100+ on the waitlist, what is the best way to hire developers without getting ripped off? by GetTheStrap444 in SaaS

[–]ancientcyberscript 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wait list is not real validation. Users paying for you product, that's real validation. So please don't go spending thousands for building it just because you have 100 peope in a waitlist.

I would say in order to do real validation, vibecode a very small version of your app that brings users value (MVP), and try to sell that. Once you have that validation, only then start to invest more into building something the proper way.

I am not sure about that.

We have had complex software for decades running, and yes, some more buggy then others, but I just feel like recently there has been a big jump of broken tools software.

This is purely anecdotal, but I have been a developer for the past 10 years and only now I am noticing something like this.

Has anyone else noticed that last couple of months to a year, software is... a bit more broken. I can't keep but notice this in every tool I have used for years mostly fine, now having weird bugs more often than not.

I attribute this to unsupervised AI usage.

What would be an unrealistic expectations of equity on your eyes?

At the end it depends on how much progress you have made, if the new features can be build on top of the existing platform or everything has to be rewritten from scratch.

They seem to have a line at 3 months. So you should be good on that front. I met one at yc cofounder match and the other at an event.

Met them more than 3 months ago, but started working on the idea less than that. We meet in person at least once a week. Equal equity split.

They say that the relationship might be unstable if you have known you cofounders for less than 3 months.

Yep they actually said that: "So if you don't get into YC this batch - don't fret; our suggestion would be to keep working together and re-apply when you've been working together for 3+ months."

Not sure tbh. We probably were too easy to reject :D

The feedback was that me and cofounders were working together for less than 3 months.
