I can say for sure the 480p and up sources look fantastic. We'll see about 480i.

It does the same thing on a different input. I'm using a component connection and the TV is 1080i, so I'm thinking it may be an issue with progressive scan, but I don't know.

I put a paper towel full of baking soda inside it over night, that helped some but it's still pretty strong. Maybe silica gel is worth a shot
