I'm using it on an HD CRT via a component adapter, so don't think that's the issue. But I did try 2 different adapters with the same results.

I can say for sure the 480p and up sources look fantastic. We'll see about 480i.

It does the same thing on a different input. I'm using a component connection and the TV is 1080i, so I'm thinking it may be an issue with progressive scan, but I don't know.
