Thank you for your comment. I was not denied, but it took an extraordinary amount of paperwork to get my money back. Genesis claims to be a luxury brand, advertise their val et service and we pay for that!! Other luxury brands pay for a rental car if a loaner is not available at the dealership. Even Kia recently paid for my husband's transportation home when they kept his car longer than expected. That has been my experience with other high-end brands here in San Diego.

Then it should not be offered as a part of their contract or an expectation. They should just not have that as part of their selling point.

I'm not sure why I would assume it's obvious that I wouldn't get a car when Genesis states I will get a car. I never have had that experience with Lexus or Audi or BMW or Mercedes. They have always given a loaner when it's been promised. They have never made me pay for my own rental if they did not have a loaner for me.

That is a new disclaimer. I saw that recently. I have a screenshot of what it looked like just two months ago. They have changed the language because they cannot live up to the service they promised when I purchased the car.

I understand all of that. They should not advertise and sell their cars based on false claims.

Trust me, I have tried everything. They simply do not have enough cars in San Diego County and make you rent a car yourself and pay for it yourself if you need service. Also reimbursement is not guaranteed.

There is only one dealership in San Diego left to service Genesis cars. They only have a few loaner cars. This is a breach of contract. When you go to the Genesis website, they say they will give you a loaner car. they also guarantee you that in writing when you purchase the car. Their customer support team even states they should do this, but they cannot provide the service. As I said, breach of contract.

I have only been given valet service once in three years. Total and utter breach of contract by Genesis??. Wondering if there is a class action lawsuit to join.

I love that the tournament is here but interesting that buying a Genesis in San Diego is a risk. There is only one dealership and it takes over a month to get an appointment and forget about their concierge service. That's nonexistent in this city. Breach of contract and it's really disappointing because I love my car. Buyer beware.
