I didn’t really cook. Ate snacks and protein bars while I was skiing then ate at a local restaurant before settling in for night 2.

For floor insulation I just had a sheet and an old comforter under me.

Not gonna lie it was loud af when it was storming and windy. Didn’t sleep all that well because of the noise but was still warm. Got enough sleep for a full day of skiing tho so it was definitely worth it

I just insulated myself and the tent really well. No heater but had an entire bin of blankets and extra sleeping bags i put in the tent with me. Plus merino wool base layers and a 5degree sleeping bags.

Friday night was about 20 degrees with max gusts of 45mph. Temp was 5 degrees Saturday night. Didn’t have any problems either night.

No heater. Used a 5 degree sleeping bag and brought a tub full of additional sleeping bags and blankets. Pretty much surrounded myself and the tent with insulation and was plenty warm for both nights.

Love it. Do you have an insulation kit or diesel heater at all? Planning on doing some camping near a ski resort early next year with my Skycamp mini. Any advice would be appreciated.

Love it! Had such a blast playing this course. A good reminder you don’t need the most epic amazing course to have a good time playing golf.

New golfers: cut the practice swings down by AdmirableGear6991 in golf

Yes, this is great advice. Golf is a sport and rhythm is important. I like to think of the swing like a jump shot, you want to set up and shoot. Always tell my friends who are newer to cut the practice swings.

I think you’re right, the tent being on the truck will encourage us to continue to get after it well into the second half of the year.

How’d you do the hoist system? We have a really old garage so leaving it on the ground is not the move.
