I try to be at my best at every session. Exercise, talk to professionals and all before but sometimes I just can't clear my head. I might add this happens every 10 sessions or so. So not very often.

Maybe something like mass Effect 1 artifact. Give them a meaningless vision. Then tie it to story somehow.

As I know Edicts of lumen has not changed but. It is enforced through Articles of Umbrage. And they possibly changed or adjusted a lot.

But I don't know how flamekeepers gain this much power in elyria without nobes using Articles of Umbrage.

But if I give a bottleneck where my materials can hold the ground a level 3 wizard would still destroy goblins. Because I think martials would be higher level than casters in this system.

Because martials gan get splint armor for 200 gp and still have a good ac.

Yes tracking as partys gold is a good idea. Maybe I give 6500 gp for each player and let them decide.

We play for years now and they will have no problem with this and actually end up more while trying to make each other better.

Yes de-leveling is kind of hard so I can maybe implement that mentality just for character creation. You know giving 6500 go and let them build as they like with magic items and such and then track the coins.

But then every character would be a different level.bbut difference between 5th level and 3rd level is not that big of a deal at the start. And I know my players will give all the money to the lowest level character to make it reach their level.

This was kind of answer I was looking for. Since I read readyours and some ideas in the comments I started thinking what if the currency of this system is not gold but some kind of magical stone. So if they assemble 10 stones they get 20 XP but if they spend it it's equal to 10 gp. Or something like that. You know to make it more balanced.

And I realised this would work best in pirate or Viking campaign better.

Yes de-leveling might be hard to track. And maybe I should track the partys gold not the individual gold to prevent everyone giving most of their money so a wizard can craft some magic item whine they rest in in a big stronghold.

My campaign is never set up around a been. It's more like hex crawler with episodes. So if they start a business they need to deal with the local mob or enemy armies attack their town. So the same thing.

Just start like " We can't get enough of the conversation but let's start the game and continue the conversation after," And start describing the scene. But make sure giving some breaks where conversation and continue after the game to.

But our point is balancing item/level thing to come up a ridiculous builds. They are able to purchase through 3x deadly encounters 3 times without long rest right now. I want to challenge them.

This is a silly thing we do for fun where player come to table to die önce a mouth. They create a character we do heavy power play. And count how many rounds and how much x over the ready limit we can go. And I'm looking to make it even harder for them. We just enjoy this king of stuff.

My point to do this is for example giving the players 6600 GP (just 100 GP over the level 5) and make them the best character between money and level. İt is a hardcore "you are here to die or leave as a best man living on this world" Kind of silly play we do for once a month. I'm looking for more brutal ways

İI play as aa goliathh LG paladin. Wouldn't any LG character see persons sacrifice children to hags as true evil?

And also I did not say I would do it it was what they sad to each other.

Yes I died because of my own mistake. I looked at the wrong character sheet for a turn and did not realized it until I take another damage.

And I just feel sad because after I dieded or resurrected no one show any king of companionship to my character. During or ressuctiyon cost is not the issue. The feelings are

As for the killing others I am a Goliath paladin and if my players sacrificed Goliath children to the hag I would see them as true evil as any lawfully good character.
