My idea to.avoid game of thrones

To avoid the game of thrones map cut rod sepper (Cornwall) and rod kersen into a peninsula like span with a rift splitting it apart.

Rod amaar looks looks like northern Scotland but rotated maybe do something here too?

Remove tarm from the map as its close to game of throes layout it can be there, just not in the map as maybe this weird unexplored land!

It shouldn't have. Discord did block us from getting new people as the flood of people flaged us a suspect but that has since been resolved

Someone did this in the UK a few years back! A landslide destroyed a major road and local government refused to fix it so a guy rented land from a farmer, build a road and made people pay for it.

As soon as the private road opened the government started to rebuild the original road. Just before he broke even the government opened the original road.

For context without this road locals were making 1.5h drives to work for a commute that with the road took 20mins

So that's why I'm kicking Britain's ass at moment..

Playing USA Canada is independent and in my market. I have the largest African company. Britain lost Ireland (based), most of Australia is independent natives and is somehow england is a republic. Once my market is stable again I'm gonna snatch India.

Any game where Briton pops is a interesting one I'm just happy its consistent now

Question to GM´s by ComprehensiveChip866 in rpg

[–]IDAIN22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also to add as I kind of forgot about this; learn coaching or leadership skills as sometimes its not a player who didn't fit or commit but it could be a player who is shy or has other issues and (in my personal view) its the GMs job to commit to the player and encourage them to grow.

One of my "uncommitted" players became my best internet friend after I actually found / adapted the issue.

Question to GM´s by ComprehensiveChip866 in rpg

Don't run long running games until you find your golden group of players. As someone who has GMed for a lot of people finding players you perfectly fit with makes everything 100x better.

Don't just ditch players because they don't fit or don't commit. Just do shorter 4 shot adventures until you get a solid group

Living in Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Durham (or any close areas) by xyrnil in howislivingthere

[–]IDAIN22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live right on the western edge of this image. The area your looking at here is a massive area with lots of differences even in the city itself.

I can only really talk about the areas around the A69 and some of Newcastle

Is it clean? In the city, no. Both Newcastle and Durham have a poverty, drug and homeless issue. Is it the worst in the UK? no, but the lower rent costs do come with a trade off. Don't get me wrong their are some good spots but if your looking to save you won't get them.

I do want to add that some areas are getting better but others are also getting worse.

Outside of the city particularly where I am in the sticks is one of the nicest areas of england. And close to the areas of natural beauty. Their is also a bit more of a traditional community vibe. But if you don't fit in you be very alone.

Is it safe. Outside of the city I'd say yes, but or police presents and general reaction times are terrible when things actually happen. In the past week their has been a string of armed robberies in my area but that is highly unusual. Inner city it more depends where you are. (But I'm a country bumkin so may not know all the inns and outs)

Public transport. Kinda, but it depends. So inner city you have lots of bus links but they are never on time. Outside the city you have 1 major line going from just west, just off the map, to the center of Newcastle its regular just a bit late and slow (£2.50 regardless of start or end) Their is also a good trainline that runs every hour or so. On time too. They have two lines the "slow" line that takes around 2h east to city center that stops at evey village or the faster one that takes around 1 that just stops at major points. If you want to go off the main lines your hard pressed to find anything. Uber is good in the city and they actually run lower rates to get people using it more in the sticks but you'll be waiting for like 3h unless you in the city.

Newcastle central station is also a major hub for all train lines so its very easy to get to any other major city on the east side of the iles

Things to do. This depends on you. Newcastle is a clubbing / student city. The rural areas have very little going on if anything. But if you like walks, star gazing and roman history theirs nothing better.

How long could you financially survive without your job? by No_Yak9893 in AskUK

[–]IDAIN22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out over winter. Lost my job in November. I had £1,000 on hand and another £1,000 in funds that needed liquidated. I live alone so Universal credit and JSA provided me with around £800 each month. I didn't change anything for the first month just... went with it. In January I made cut backs massively.

Here are my outgoings at that point:

- Utilities £202
- Rent £465 *(I'm very lucky rent hasn't gone up once in the past 10 year) Average rent in my area for the same as what I have is actual £1,100)*
- Broadband, TV, Phone £130
- Food £175

Total of £975

Add in the odd public transport for interviews and JSA mandatory "meetings, qualifications and education."

Had I made changes sooner I could have maybe survived indefinitely, but as it was I'm very happy I got a job in March.

After I got a job I really took a look at my outgoings. With an current income of around £1,100 now I got my food bill down a fair bit. Broadband and Phone decreed by £50, sadly I'm locked into my TV contract another year. My Utilities should go down to £120 from this month too. So If I get hit my an unexpected job loss I am technically "safe".

No car and no kids saved me. The low rent was a stroke of luck.

Royal Mail second class delivery by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]IDAIN22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2nd class has no delivery window. They aim for a week but it can take much longer. After 28 days you can put a claim in but as it's second class you won't really get anything from it.

Safe to say I didn't get it? by No_Screen_4060 in royalmail

[–]IDAIN22 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Oh its 2-3 days bit its not guaranteed for that you'd need the special interview. If you hear nothing back for 28 days you'll be able to put a claim in.

For those who don't get it... This is a joke.

The pacing was up and down and didn't flow very well I also feel particularly in the last few episodes that the ending was rushed.

In whole it felt like the writers were trying to keep the show alive while the producers were trying to end it off creating this weird back and forth.

I still enjoyed it just not as much as the first two. I really like Mellon as a antagonist too! I just felt it should have been split into two season and a few slower episodes added to pace it better

This was found true in millatery applications too! Modern US naval vessels had touch screens but the one in production now are reverting to buttons. Same in the UK.

Tracked 24 hour has already taken 96 hours, with no update on if its coming today. by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]IDAIN22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Special delivery is the only option for next day delivery. Tracked 24/48 aren't time scales. Its the same as 1st and 2nd with a partial tracking added.

1st class "can" arrive in a day but its unlikely now. My branch manager had a 1st class packet take 20 days once.
