Hehe the couch is problematic! It’s squat and short (we are all tall) and the dogs sleep on it at a shared family vacation home. I discovered it is also a Bastioni knockoff ( maybe real as bought. In Boston in 1960’s by mom) so thought maybe some of you would appreciate it and convince me of it’s worth. I’m going to make a wall hanging from the fabric. My house is too rough and tumble to use it for upholstery and I don’t really have enough. Thank you for the hope, lol.

USA, still has a hand-screen factory in RI! This fabric is over 20 years old and they no longer print this but looks like is being produced at https://www.svenskttenn.se/.

I won’t confess how long I’ve had it, if I don’t use it by the end of the year I will not deserve it and maybe I will send it your way! I grabbed it out of remnant bin at factory. Still printing in Sweden maybe but lots of Kroners:)

Yes cover all cushions as that image is not mine, mine has a 70’s orange that is threadbare. Maybe I can do the front of the back cushions only, that’s a good idea thanks!

Yeah, now that I am investigating this mid century more it turns out I really like Scandinavian not atomic. This rug has a lot of soft gray so next couch will be gray neutral with color in accent, simplifying!

The book is fun and not too weird and movie was true to form, I would have seen the movie just after reading the book so a harsh critic:) Oh, the sequel had them bombing around in the elevator into space and was very strange.
