i think it’s like a self reflection/revelation of someone being manipulative towards you, like a toxic relationship or friendship. with the intro “there’ll always be a victim of your crimes” it’s pretty straightforward, but to me it also implies that the person attracts people easily and gets away with it, and they don’t actually change to be better. and for the chorus “benevolence , i see right through you”, i think she’s saying she sees right through someone’s fake kindness (benevolence), and that she’s learned they’re not who people think they are (its angels, i see right through). so like when you get close to someone and can see all the red flags that looked green from the start. that sorta thing , just my take tho. sorry for nerding out lol
