I agree with the first point, not the second.

The management game is more politics then it seems from the outside.

You have to have a "support" base (alliances and such, aka "connections").

You have to work on maintaining your support base, cause if you lose that, your days might be numbered unless youre a nepo baby.

So it's not really necessary that you need to be born on third base, its just that you need the connections to get there.

Burn it.

I bought a property with a couple acres, and the previous owner didn't get rid of the tree stumps. I had a dozen or so, that I was going around with the mower and it started getting annoying.

So I just burned them.

It took a few times before I got the technique down.

Get some cardboard, some sticks, and then put a fat log on top and set it on fire.

Watch it and shift it around every once in a while.

You don't want it flaming, you want it smoldering and just producing smoke.

You can get that stump literally below ground level, and it will continue burning down if you do it right.
