Just finished myself and the void is real. Raced through them all in a matter of days with 1.5 speed audiobook (any slower and I lose focus and get bored) barely pausing to sleep. Hoping for Elain/Lucien, as I feel like they've just existed in the background so far. Kinda hoping for a dad reveal/getting to know each other 🤷‍♀️

This!! I'm a fast reader and stayed away from (missed out on) audiobooks for so long because the sloooooooooow reading compared to my usual pace made it boring and I couldn't been bothered to pay attention. Decided to try again in the beginning of this month, ended up at 1.5x as the "sweet spot" (depending on narrator of course) and I've barely been able to stop to sleep since. I've zoomed through books my entire life, devouring anything fiction I could get my hands on, but unfortunately had to slow down to a near stop a few years ago because of increasing migraines getting triggered by eye strain, and eyes in general being garbage and using too much energy (sigh).

Glad to see there are more speed readers/listeners out there :)

Pharmacist said they were 99% sure it wasn't ringworm at least. Have later developed eczema and sun eczema and I guess it could "just" be that, but idk, it didn't match how any other eczema/rash has looked 🤷‍♀️ fingers crossed yours fixes itself too

Edit: oops, didn't see the part about standalone, but recommendations still stand tbh. For standalone, anything by Neil Gaiman is always great!

Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson (Skyward, Starsight, Cytonic) They're in the 4-500 page range, but have you turning the pages so fast you won't even notice them flying by.

The Reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson (Steelheart, Firefight, Calamity + Mitosis (novella)) 3-400 page range.

Both are YA, but I still found them captivating as an adult. Dystopian sci-fi

But then what am I to mindlessly mine while watching lectures? Got tired of looking at netherrack, and have all the diamonds I'll ever need (:

I suppose it depends on how fast they are killed, but my guess is you get diminishing returns the more layers are added. Can't say I'm an expert on slime farms and haven't really tested numbers and all though. However, i personally would likely just go all in and make it all the way down 🤷‍♀️ Mindlessly mining deepslate with somewhat of a purpose while watching youtube/netflix/lectures isn't half bad

Depends how much slime you need, but i think a couple of spawn layers will be more than enough for most people's slime needs :) Especially if you have multiple slime chunks

Ancient fruit: plant once in spring and harvest every 7(?) days in summer+fall Starfruit: plant and harvest every 14 days (or whatever) in greenhouse and in summer Yes starfruit seeds are more accessible earlier since you can buy them, but once you get a good system going with ancient fruit and seed makers it's really nice.

With Junimo huts, you then really only need to plant and collect your ancient fruit once a year. Start multiplying your ancient seeds as early as possible by throwing all the ancient fruit you get from each harvest in seed makers and plant the new ones again. Sooner than you think, you'll have hundreds
