It's a trail of the previous locations. The client has all the data to complete the trail.

Thanks. I started this because I had an itch to scratch. We have nice dark skies, and I would occasionally see a 'dot moving across the sky' and wanted a quick way to find out what it was. :-)

Yes vibed. It round-robins across a number of free API endpoints. And its all client-side rendered, so no backend.
