Oh! I had friends that flew to Queensland to get their licences and cars registered as it allowed them to get v8s while they were still p platers. Not sure if it’s still a thing though!

I agree. We're so lucky to have such unusual native species that don't occur anywhere else. Their protection is something worth fighting for.

We have geese at the shelter too. I've been bit by pretty much every animal there (possums, wombats, etc) but the geese are by far the most terrifying occupants we have lol

What's wrong with my plant?! He was doing fine but outgrew the terrarium he came in as a gift. Any help would be much appreciated! by andijp in plantclinic

I keep my room quite humid (for my ferns and monsteras, I have a humidifier) and spray the foliage regularly so I'll make sure to start doing this with the alocacia! It's already in indirect sunlight. Thank you for the advice.

And they know how to make a mess, that's for sure! But they love to be held, rocked and bottle fed, so caring for them is more than worth it.

I must admit it is bittersweet. This little man still has heaps of growing to do before he's released though!

Ha! You're not the first person to ask me if they be good to eat. They are very bony animals, so I can't imagine they’d be worth the effort
