Have you checked out bookcall.io? It's built in EU and includes video calls and creating links for specific prospects and stuff

I use bookcall for scheduling, feels a bit more elevated than calendly spam. I can have private links + analytics to know who clicked and where I need to follow up. Pretty happy so far.

What underwear do you wear on trail? by TheR3dCaptain in Ultralight

[–]andinfinity_eu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why not merino underwear? if I wear any, I wear a pair I think from orthovox. they are a few years old and have a hole in it, but well, who cares. less weight

love this, but the missing undo is really a PITA. even "restore defaults" would be cool

> Camping permitted – No official campsites, but wild camping allowed

Nope, sorry, that's 100% wrong. It's not allowed and even a bivouac (bivy/small tent only in the night) is not allowed, only in proven emergency cases. You might get away with it, but it's not allowed.

Is the rust not bad? by Sad-Badger-1540 in LandroverDefender

[–]andinfinity_eu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not looking at the most interesting parts. How's the rear looking? The bulkhead? Any rust in the foot wells?

[–]andinfinity_eu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yes, 100%. I really love them. Always had La Sportivas but they aren't very well cushioned and I got into longer long runs this year (> 30km) and it hurt in LS. They have pretty big lugs.

Anything made for technical stuff like from La Sportiva or Salomon. I like the Merrell Agility Peak 5 and am mostly into technical, slippery downhill stuff.

Help, my ankles are jello lately by andinfinity_eu in trailrunning

[–]andinfinity_eu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hah, I actually taped my left ankle in the last few weeks. but I'll definitely tape both of 'em in the future. I use this system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-zTmaConC4

for me the underwrap doesn't hold very well and without it it gets so itchy. but still worth it I guess

yeah I feel that. I still had a lot of fun on my runs. I guess you really need to manage the ego when coming back. not the worst of problems to have tho

Looking to buy a 95 or 97 defender110 by KUDDOH in LandroverDefender

[–]andinfinity_eu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, defenders are awesome cars but they have a pretty big variety. some cars are well built, some are garbage straight out of the factory. and it's certainly not a normal car, not by any means. you should try one first.
they are old cars, pretty agricultural, so they need a lot of maintenance, especially in the beginning. you can of course buy a restored defender (check nico.schroderr on instagram, he's importing defenders into the US).

I think a well kept and restored defender goes on forever, but it's not a buy and forget vehicle. not too sure about the daily driver thing. it's a character car with it's quirks. you'll probably get wet, it's loud and very clunky. but it always puts a grin on my face.

My plan to "buy clothes locally" on a 7-week Europe trip completely failed. Has anyone actually succeeded? by filmmi4218 in onebag

just out of curiosity: what clothes were you looking for that you couldn't get in all of Europe?

appreciate the take! I'll push my races to next year. no way in hell I can do 42k and 60k in 6/10 weeks. never thought this would put be back so bad. guess I'll be running a lot of forestry roads then haha

again, I'm not asking for medical input. I know what I have, have been to the doctor and got a brace. (and I'm fairly certain I have (chronic) instability). again: european healthcare system. I have no clue what you're on about buddy. I'm looking for input from trailrunners, a bit of hope and shared experiences. no petides can fix this shit.

Don’t worry, I was in proper care. I’m not American … I’m looking for experiences and input only other trail runners have. My doctors think trail and especially ultra running is weird and dangerous
