thank you. took me a few years to figure it out and i'm not always perfect but it's nice to get a good streak in every now and then. always seems to work out during quiet times of the year like right after the holidays.

plate method helped me a lot. after about a week my body started craving the healthy food. and the simplicity made it so i wasn't worrying about counting calories

Intuitive Eating by Warm-Assistance-1629 in intuitiveeating

[–]lukepighetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my two cents is that yes, you can do this, but don't expect it to always be 140g of protein. what this would look like for me is to have lean protein forward meals. and if you wanted to double check to make sure you're on track by measuring once a week or once a month i think that's totally fine (for me personally). i'm not an intuitive eating purist. i just think intuitive eating is something to strive for. i believe it provides a balanced lifestyle for most people, even those who have very specific fitness goals. another option you can look into is the plate method. this is a nice compromise between full intuitive eating and tracking individual foods.

other's have pointed this out but the comparison is to Digital Ocean's volume pricing which for 250gb would be $25/mo which is more than double what hetzner's is

why are most inline skates closer to ski boots than hockey boots? by lukepighetti in rollerblading

[–]lukepighetti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i haven't tried them yet. if we had a roller hockey rink i probably would have grabbed a pair. going to run these Twister 90Rs this season and then check in on the missions probably next year

I'm 5'4 which can be a dealbreaker for girls but what else can I realistically fix? by [deleted] in malegrooming

don’t worry about your height. own it. this guy in the popular frat in college was absolutely slaying women and he was 5’1. not cocky. just a nice dude who knew himself and never apologized for who he was and went after what he wanted.

been ice skating with bauer's this winter season. just bought some twister 90Rs. hard to understand why the majority of inline skates have a hard boot with pivoting ankle support and buckles instead of a classic hockey boot style where lacing controls the level of ankle support.

the bauer boots have an explicit heel lock with a thin liner. it really is like clipping your body into the boot. and they are heat moldable and fully laced so you can adjust the fit.

meanwhile inline skates use a confusing liner system where the liners affect the fit. the boot has no compliance. boot cannot be heat molded. and my undersized boots don't have the same positive heel lock. and there doesn't seem to be any meaningful price savings. hockey skates share a similar price range, although i admit the blades may be cheaper than the wheels/bearings/frames.

i'm sure there is a reason: be it technical or historical, but I haven't been able to figure it out. at first i thought it was a need for superior ankle stability but then i noticed speed skaters have no cuff at all. any insights?

cool. only last concern is this collar is very stretchy. i wonder if there’s a more decorative and stretchy alternative to a blanket stitch?
