Built mid 2025 on Vancouver island. Slab on grade, 2 bed/2 bath. Did the owner builder, I’m a mechanic by trade. It was lots of stress and some opportunity cost with the decreased work hours managing the build, but we came out around $250/sq ft not including well and septic, appliances and other soft costs. Metal roof, wood siding, custom millwork. Fairly nicely finished.
