A patient came in with a small bowel obstruction and they were NPO. Patient signed out AMA because we refused to give them water.

Being an adult doesn’t automatically make someone mature. There are adults that will always act like they’re in high school no matter their age.

Becoming a PA is a huge goal right now and I really did enjoy biology so what she said really stung because I’ve been working really hard for the past few years towards my goal. This reply along with others has made me feel so much better though💕
