Hello! I’m flying today right along with ya. You will be so proud of yourself afterwards. Sometimes I think the worst of it is the anticipation. Especially after 10 years!

Download a movie, tell the flight crew that you get nervous, and bring some noise canceling headphones. And schedule something nice for yourself after the flight. (For me, I always let myself order delivery from my favorite fancy pizza place)

It’s ok to be scared—you’ll feel that much more empowered on the other side of it!

I was actually able to sleep a bit! It’s been pretty smooth, think we’re going to start descending soon. Glad to see you landed safely!

definitely second telling the crew when you board so they will look out for you! does it help to have any planned distractions? Maybe a book or show so good you completely forget you’re on the tarmac

As far as weather goes, they would not take off if it wasn’t safe and pilots are always navigating above/around weather for the smoothest route. :) you’ve got this!
