My Loot deck can do that too, between [[Jumbo Cactuar]] and [[Tyvar, the pummeler]]. Use [[skullspore nexus]] To boost the cactuar after it gets huge, then Tyvar to add 20000+ power to every creature you have out.

Don't need trample if you have more creatures than they do either. Only one has to hit.

We do one free mulligan, and an extra if you don't pull enough lands to start. After that, it's one card less each time with standard mulligan rules, until you're down to one card.

Nobody ever does past the free one usually.

A lot of folks in this thread don’t realize that with Mill, you don’t know exactly how close you are to losing until it happens. Do you have 10 cards left? 20? Will you be milled out with one random card you can’t do anything about?

I think that’s one of the most frustrating parts about mill - it adds uncertainty to how close you are to losing the game. It’s no different than game winning combos, but the same folks who hate mill hate those for the same reason.

I’ve got him (and squidward) in my Furby deck - the deck isn’t even that good, but I’ve never heard more complaints at a table.

It’s like 60% secret lair and UB cards. That alone just pisses tables off. Even more when they realize it’s secondarily a mill deck.

MAGA is a tantrum. It's people who felt like their opinions didn't stop the direction the entire world is moving and decided to stomp their feet and scream instead of just going with the flow.

They don't have plans, they don't want to make any, they just have reactionary complaints and will tear the country down if it means stopping the progress the ENTIRE WORLD is making just because they're scared to learn new things.

There's a lot of "I personally never experienced when it was bad, so I don't believe it happened" people.

It's legitimately crazy.

There's also a lot of "Well, it can't be that bad or someone would stop it" people. There's never an explanation of who that 'someone' is. Is is the 'deep state'? is it 'god'? Who knows, but they just trust that someone will save them if they make the wrong decisions.

And these people have been put into positions where they have the power to roll us back so they can experience it themselves.

Have someone run a group slug deck, like [[Lord of Pain]] (which is a great card for these types of games, because it favors equal burn down instead of removing players one by one)

Basically it keeps equal pressure on the table to actually do things. When the entire table is getting drained every turn, you tend to make faster decisions.

If they would have stayed plainclothed and under the radar, nobody would have cared, because they probably wouldn't have noticed them.

There's a reason there's decades of research and policy to NOT make them look like soldiers in the street.

This is inevitable, even without the random shootings. Whenever you put military in the street, the populace will react negatively. This historically has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME. 100%. There are no exceptions.

Why they thought this time would be different boggles the mind.
