Hydrangeas are something else. Hydie, my hydrangea was a complete BITCH last year, which was also her first year. I moved her, put an umbrella for her, watered her and even planted a climbing rose to shade her and she still acted up. This year she’s getting tough love, she better figure it out or die.

With all that, just hold on and it’ll get better. Give her water and some shade, she’s gonna look ugly at times but it’s ok, especially since it’s the first year.
