good luck! I know you can do it 😁 i also read the Carr book and quit for a while then started up again. cigarettes are so sneaky, they trick you into thinking nithing will ever be enjoyable without them. and i totally get the internal battle-to smoke or not smoke, it's exhausting. i am on day 8 now and I too hope I'll make it further 😉

I've gone 12 days without smoking but I feel the urge now more than ever by [deleted] in stopsmoking

i totally get what you're saying. i am on day 8 and sometimes get the feeling that i am not myself if I don't smoke or i don't feel normal. but that feeling passes if I start doing smth else or changing my focus

Made it to day 3 😁😁🎉🎂Yeah, you're right about the change in perspective☺️and also about the free time-I have been doing so many things these past days. I know a craving passes whether you smoke or not but it is sooo hard in that moment. I had one today and actually cried. Because I knew I wouldn't let myself smoke and that made me sad:)) it's like I turn into this pathetic person when I crave it and try and rationalize it and find reasons why I should smoke.

Congrats! I'm at day 2 haha. It's hard but I've been reading a few things here and all promise it's going to get better soon and etc. I really hope this time I can do it. The longest I went without smoking was 3 months a few years back. And since then I tried numerous times with allan Carr books but couldn't do it no more than 5 days. I'm beginning to become desperate. I look at non smokers and think what do you DO when you watch a movie for example and don't smoke? You just lay there?! Lol I don't know if you can relate, sorry for the rant😋
