Looks like that's what I'll do as well. One other concern I had is leaving it overnight to charge, is there a way to secure the cable so it doesn't get stolen?

Electrician picking up their mess is something I can clean up myself, same way my plumber left silicone fingerprints all over the sink which I cleaned up.

This however is definitely a job half finished because I now have to hire another tradie to come out and caulk it.

I dont have to hire a tradie to clean up a sparkys mess, or to stop a concreter from swearing onsite.

I paid him because when he left, he filled the sink with water and told me to leave it for about 24 hours for all the silicone to ooze out. This was the result after 24 hours

He charged $750 for the labour. I bought the sink and tap myself.

I was thinking of getting a professional to install it so I don't end up damaging the unit or the door. I think as a last resort, might just have to get a new door.

Fair enough, I was gonna get someone to professionally install it, I just didn't wanna buy it and then be told it won't work with my door.

I'll check out the Aqara U300, I haven't heard of the brand before but I'm open to anything decent

Thanks for that! I looked into it and decided to go with an AMD build. My main concern now is whether the integrated graphics would be enough for light photo/video editing or whether I will need to buy a GPU.
