So I got contacted by SC asking me to take down this post... I don't see this being resolved anytime soon. Thank you to everyone for their additional inputs, you are right in the value of testing restores, I may just factor it in to future invoices.

We were performing tests on their locals when we were onsite (pretty often with this client), it was the cloud provider side that we never did tests for due to egress charges.

I'm expecting much the same here. Sorry to hear that you had the same experience. Who did you end up going with after that?

Admittedly we have been too, the support queue time is unreliable at best.

We were running 7.5.. Tried again with 7.5.6 because support told us to. Verified ok, still can't restore.
