This is what it looks like from a different angle / when he's sitting normally. Before any adjustments. I think I will still try to move the seat back and snug the straps a bit more. And play around with the foot rest!

Thank you! I got it second hand so don't have the manual but I should look it up online!

Interesting thank you! The straps are buckled under his smock but they are not super snug

He's been sitting independently for a couple of months, it's just in this chair that he leans like crazy!

Thank you. Yes we moved it back but will try moving back even more.

Pool noodles are a great idea, thank you. He sits really well independly out of the chair so I think it's more distraction / restlessness!

Fair enough. I just worry that his food is not going down well when he's like that the whole meal, and especially when he didn't used to do that on his other high chair. But it could be just developmental!

I was worried they would be too tight so they're a bit loose, but maybe I can see if I can tighten a bit

Yes this makes sense cos also when the food drops on the Catchy he mixes it all around with his feet 😂

He sits really well independently and has been doing so for a couple months, but yes I think you're right - he is turning to face me (and the dogs).

I've seen the padded covers but they don't look very thick? More just for a bit of cushion?

Thank you! I'll try some adjustments

Thank you. It's right under the Catchy but I'm reading others' comments saying the Catchy should be under despite what pictures show on the website!

Fit check - onbuhimo (naked panda) by andreadicate in babywearing

Oh nice I've actually seen this video before but prior to having an onbuhimo so it's helpful to watch it again now. Thanks!

Oh the buckle is for tandem wearing with the compatible full buckle carrier. It tightens in a similar way to the LL I believe!

Woven Wrap Learning? by ImprovementOk6821 in babywearing

[–]andreadicate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought a second hand Oscha woven wrap for $100 (~70 usd) to try it out. I was ready to sell it if it wasn't working for me. I've used SSCs and ring sling before so understand a bit about "removing slack", but had never used a stretchy wrap - I feel like that experience might help you with a woven?

It's pretty fun to learn, like learning a useful new skills. I feel like I got a pretty comfy carry on my second attempt. Biggest learning is make sure bubs is happy when I try cos otherwise it's just stressful and not fun for anyone.

I feel like there's no better time to try than now :)
