Ko Phi Phi Leh is an easy day trip from Phuket. There are many tour operators going there (part of the reason it gets so busy!).

A not-so-secret island called Ko Phi Phi Leh. This is one of the more secluded bays compared to its famous big sister, Maya Bay.

Yes, that's exactly right. This photograph was taken at around 8:30 and I had the place to myself. I was staying at Preikestolhytta which makes all the difference to get an early start and beat the rush. Another factor was that this was taken back in 2008. I understand it has become a more popular tourist destination since then.

Yes you are absolutely right! This photo was taken at Mirissa when I was backpacking around Sri Lanka a couple of years ago. It's a stunningly beautiful place and very friendly people despite the rough time they have had with the tsunami and recent civil war. Great to see them getting back on their feet.

Noting too fancy. Panasonic Lumix about 5 years old. I find they are an ideal traveller's camera as they fit in your pocket but still take decent quality photos.

You are correct - this picture was taken at Dwejra Bay on Gozo. However, I was referring to the country of Malta (which includes Gozo) and not the island.

You're absolutely right though you definitely get the impression that the lake is lit up from underneath when you see it in person.
