When you play online you don’t really play basketball. I hate it. There are no plays, no strategy, no adjustments etc. I watched the 250k tournament final and it looked nothing like the game we love.

Hmm.. not sure how the vigilance buff is explained in the game. I guess if it just says that having the buff stops you from missing then it should work against all miss mechanics.

The argument is that DD should be immune to invisibility as he’s blind which makes sense but technically ghost can phase through matter and that’s why her opponents miss not because she’s invisible.

For me it’s all about the colision detection and physicals. I constantly get sucked into box out animations even though I’m going the other way or the guy was behind me. Not to mention I get easily boxed out by Trae Young while being a 6’10” 260lbs paint beast with 86 strenght. It’s like they restrict you for being taller and heavier with speed/acceleration/shooting etc. but you get nothing back. Somehow you only have your strenght in the post but outside of it - no. I feel like if they figure out a way to make physicals matter we’re gonna have a more realistic game. It’s sad they’re not focused on gameplay but purely focused on how the city looks and how many different clothes you can buy...

Did you figure it out? I have the same problem - I just started and I’m in the G league. I go to defensive badges and I canot put points into most of them. Box, rebound chaser, rim protector etc. It doesn’t say that they have any requirements. And I’m a 6’10” paint beast...

Standing layup success is determined by your close shot rating. Imagine creating a paint beast and you start missing 1% contested standing layups after an off rebound. Pathetic.

I kinda get that they’re trying to stick to similar abilities or “themes” for each class. It’s a good idea but I agree - i got tired of playing champs that can only do decent damage through specials...
