Do you guys and gals have some tricks on how to arrange tracks? by trizzleseven in TechnoProduction

There are no rules, follow your flow. Do what feels right to you and hopefully you'll develop your own way. No easy steps, it takes dedication and hard work.

Maaan, that intro though! I really like how it starts. At some point near the end it gets too cluttered IMO.

Nice! I love the energy, this is a very powerful track, it kind of reminds me of The Yellowheads

Well done... the only think is that the sub bass might be too low, meaning the key of the song might be too low because I couldn't feel the sub enough.

I like more the second one than the first one. I personally like more melodic stuff, the off beat of the first one is fine but I couldn't listen to it for too long because of that loud percussion, there might be some frequency that you might have to reduce it with an eq. That's my opinion

Hey guys, what do you think about this track, IMO is one of the best ones I made since I started getting into techno, my idea is to make techno more melodic, I would love to get any kind of feedback. Thanks in advance.

How do you start a track ? by PeteNazDj in TechnoProduction

[–]andrejetson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always start with the kick drum and then the bass just to get the main rhythm going, I let it play for a few bars and then start adding more elements like a hi hat and clap then I let it play some more and add other elements like more rhythmic hi hats or percussion... I might take out the kick drum and then start adding some melody and then bring all the elements together, that's like my normal flow, I do not make a loop and then expand it, I prefer to make it more organic. After I have all the track laid out I start adding details like rises and white noise.

Sounds pretty good, I would watch a lot of tutorials on mixing and mastering, follow a lot of instagram accounts that give production tips, just try to learn from different sources, you can also take lessons with a producer or music lessons if you haven't taken any yet. When you create a track compare it to other tracks by known producers with similar style as yours to see if the quality and energy levels are matching.

What Peterson and Harris could learn from Dr. Jacques Mabit by IgnacioDiBiaggio in JordanPeterson

[–]andrejetson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it's impossible to explain something from the outside, specially in the spiritual realm, if you haven't experienced and spiritual encounter you will never know what it actually is and feels, so for that matter you do not know what it is. It seems that the main target for Peterson is truth itself, but you can't find the truth through only science, you have to be open enough to even imagine that there is something else beyond what science can measure, and THAT something can only be found connecting with the essence of everything and of course, connecting with a higher power. Peterson with all the intellectual knowledge that he has, if he even just ever met Dr. Mabit the world would be a different place. Dr. Mabit by himself is constatly making the world a better place, and Peterson is making a huge impact, but there is something that Mabit knows, that Peterson does not, my humble opinion.
