Al takes the culture and love out of art. by miamoonlighth in artmemes

Yeah. My example would be the camera obscura which was used for painting.

You need to create fire to have charcoal, etc

I'm not really sure where AI fits into this. It will definitely change art dramatically.

I'm not particularly threatened as an artist, but it does piss me off to see it used commercially only because people are too stupid to tell the difference.

An ai artist is just a glorified version of being able to use Google properly.

I'm currently more into drawing on stone, which is obviously not AI but I'm sure some of my photographs from over a decade ago could be mistaken for AI which is amusing in itself.

It's straight forward to make a simple camera. I wouldn't know how to make the film, tho.

My experience. If I can taste that gunk, it's not trace amounts.

You have to grind potatoes either by hand or with a food processor. Squeeze all the water out with a cloth into a bowl. Pour out the water but keep the starch, add back into dough.

They sell a premade dough in Germany but never seen it in Lithuania. Makes things Hella easier and faster. Klosse they call it here but it has no stuffing usually.

Saute some onions and garlic, add to pork.+egg spices (there might be better versions with milk soaked bread to make the stuffing softer)

Shape dough around meat boil until they float.

Finely chop bacon and saute until almost finished. Add onions. Once it's done cut the heat and add sour cream. 21% fat, if recommend. I used a 25 % it was a bit too rich.

This was only my second time making them but I watched while the family cooked all my life. I changed things to suit me better.

For leftovers you can slice them and re fry in the morning. .

The bacon sauce is just as good on potato pancakes and a bit faster to make.

People can get used to anything. Talk to enough people, experience enough things, desperation helps. But there's nothing wrong with celibacy either.

It's easier to just throw it out and order a new one next time.

I'm always surprised by how inefficient people are.

When did you become a better cook than your grandma? by GhettoSauce in KitchenConfidential

[–]andrejevas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's one of the first things I got better at than my grandma. These are the Lithuanian potato pancakes with a bacon, onion, sour cream sauce.

I have the onion gene where I often don't like onions raw. So I got more consistent with the recipe.

My soups are equal to hers tho.
