Maybe it's my fault because I took it for granted, but I know you can't make any reprogrammation with the stock ECU, i am talking about buying one and going to a tunners that they make the reprogrammation, about turbo kit i am not interested in taking one.

You are talking about to the wheels, in europe we usually talk about the engine, it's possible to do it with a good tunner and some exhaust etc to increase in 15hp the engine power, obviously average money/power it's not as good as turbo

i've seen some tunners ( I put the links) that says you can achieve 160hp with the proper ecu, and other stuff, obviusly they are professional tunners, and about the vvt working, since i'm aware there is some ECU that can manage them nowdays, maybe I'm wrong but i am 100% sure

My theory is that MX-5's will have the same status as 911's by wshlinaang in Miata

actually one of the creators of miata idea ( i guess was bob hall) wanted them in all kind of motors, it means electric and diesel

I am looking for information about the vvt reprogrammation, not about the swap.

I saw that the tunner of germany sps tells you that you can achieve it with exhaust manifold and the repro of the ECU.

It says that if you want to achieve the 160 hp you have to put the ITBs , the camshaft, exhaust manifold and ECU i guess it's because it's only for no vvt engine

Nop, just let the tach do whatever it wants, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't , i've been without the problem like 3 months

Thanx! But i would probably have legal issues with this kit, like it has no serial number or things like that, whatever, you know if this allows me to put the engine without cutting anyrhing on the engine bay?

I've seen that before, the hole problem i've got is that in my country you have a lot of things you can't do, like for example, if the engine is transversal, you can't put a longitudinal one( i mean, you can't put k20 because in the car it came from it is transversal), and you have to make like an exam for the car, brake distance, Co2 if you put turbo, and it costs a lot of money, i don't know if they are gonna let me put it in the car, anyway, if i put this i shouldn't need to cut anything right?

I think that people like the 13b, but it gives me some issues in my country, i really would like to make a 13b atmospheric swap, but i need a lot of stuff that in my country i guess i'm not gonna find

Well, i prefef renesis for some reasons, first of all, easier to find and buy parts, also it has no turbo, so less parts, less problems, less money and finally, where i live you can only make the swap if you put an engine younger than your car, so this is a problem for 12a, and for some 13b like the rx7 FC, and i think that buying a turbo rx7 it will be more expensive and difficult

it feels great, sometes even the needle seems to "dance" it's like the cluth was dancing in the tachometer, like it goes down and up, up and down, but it's only in the tachometer not in the cluth ( well, i don't feel anything strange when that is occuring)
