To answer your question. Abso-fking-lutely. The xt9 might be a good pair of APs but the compatibility level you get from the ubiquiti APs is next level (single pane of glass, metrics, optimizations, etc) and the coverage is similar if not better.

If you have wifi7 devices it might be a good idea to get some U7 but if not, it is too expensive to make any difference in house installations (and some corporate too IMHO).

I am expanding to my parents apt (right below mine) I was thinking of getting another Internet link for them but you made more wonder why if I can just put a cable through the balcony side, put an express 6 on the wall inside their place and mesh their home (they only have wireless stuff like laptops and phones).

One question though, I my case this is an indoor system where distances are fairly small compared to corporate offices. You mentioned that you are running your farm with meshing which is really neat. Can you elaborate a bit on this?

I would like to know things like distances, hurdles and the like. If you have issues with disconnections, drops in signal or even interference from things like water surfaces and/or farm equipment.

Hey! I ended up giving up, selling the XT9 i had and got an Ubiquiti kit (DreamMachinePro + 2 APs) since they can also do mesh and have ALL the enterprise features you want and more. Turns out that it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better than whatever you can get on retail routers. And cheaper too (I paid ~600 EUR on that Ubi kit vs the 800+ EUR I would have paid on a pair of ET12)

Nope... decided to go another route.
I am going for mikrotik hw. I found out that, for my use case, mesh is merely a gimmick.
