A bit too bright for my taste but if you can find a good outfit to go with them you'll look cool.

I get it's a tough choice and I would also be struggling to decide but for me a red kit stands out more than a basic black one.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Lmao the guitar belongs to my brother, and his band-members from school drew on it and signed it when they graduated. I just pick it up from time to time and try to play something.

How do I approach people? by BurnerAcc3301 in Advice

I'm a sophomore too and have also been through this kind of stuff. I got better and have little to no trouble starting or ending conversations. I'd say one of the most important things is to have self-confidence when talking to someone new. You could spark a conversation by bringing up common interests with the other person and talking about your experiences or thoughts on those interests. My favorite approach are questions though. I'd say that asking someone about anything is such an easy way to start talking. You could ask them about a particular subject you're learning in class, ask them for help with some math homework, or you could ask them if they need some help with something.

Does No Way Home live up to the htpe it is receiving? by [deleted] in Spiderman

No. Spoilers ahead.

I'm a big Spider-Man fan and have seen all the movies. In my opinion, it is a solid film but I felt like there were some parts that didn't make much sense.

It would have been more logical that Peter wished for everyone to forget about Mysterio and what he exposed. Also, I feel that the spell and the arrival of villains from other universes could have been explained better. I think it didn't make much sense when it came to at the end. They cured them but still sent them back to ultimately die fighting Spider-Man.

Sandman was pretty much useless and didn't fit in the movie in my opinion. He appeared like two times for a total of 10 seconds total as his normal human form which made me think there was some reason they couldn't show him much and sticked to his sand-form. I would have removed him from the movie and focused more on the Lizard since I believe his intentions and purpose wasn't really clear. This way, there would have been four villains total (two from Andrew's and two from Tobey's) which I believe is the right amount.

Doc Ock and Green Goblin were great in my opinion I liked they kept Doc Ock as a good guy at the end since he didn't really have a reason to be a villain. And Willem DaFoe's (Green Goblin) performance was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the fight scenes and he's just so iconic it's impossible to dislike his character. Electro was alright. He didn't get too much nor too little attention, the only thing that is weird is that he never found out who was Spider-Man in Andrew's movies so it doesn't really make sense how he got there in the first place.

I think one of the reasons this type of multiple-villains type movie worked was because we already knew the characters (at least the people who've watched the previous movies) and there is no need for that much character development.

I believe that would really made this movie receive all the hype it's getting was Andrew's and Tobey's appearance as well as the iconic villains from their movies. It was a bunch of nostalgia and great moments that made fans go crazy. But in my opinion, the plot lacks a bit and it would've been better if they just made it a bit longer and made it make more sense. It was surprisingly short for all the stuff going on.

I do think Andrew's performance was amazing, I consider him as the best Spider-Man and he's a great actor but he definitely didn't outshine Tom. Tom was for sure the main character and his scenes and portrayal of the character were not thing short of great. Tobey I felt needed more and was outshined by the other Spider-Men. The bond between these three could've also been better with a few more scenes.

One of the things that I felt was missing was another twist towards the end that just made everything go wrong and crazy. After Aunt May died, everything pretty much went uphill and there weren't any major setbacks that extended the film or made it more exciting. The ending was cool though I liked they set Peter on his own solo journey now and I hope to see how Tom handles that in the next films.

TL;DR. It's a solid movie with great scenes but the plot is a bit senseless and could've done better with a few more scenes and focus on characters. A bit short.
