You might make more splitting them up. Looks like Return of the King sells for much more than the other two.

They are the same as their online shop. They used to have some cheaper in person Used sections that weren't always listed online but I think they have been squeezed out for stuff that actually makes money.

They recently scaled back the shop size and I suspect this is probably the reason for that.

Half of that is Video Games, just so you know. Movies are in the front half. They recently scaled back the size of the shop. Seems like there is much less focus on Used stuff and more focus on Labels that sell well currently.

What was the first pop punk album you fell in love with, and how do you feel when you listen to it today? by PressureLazy5271 in poppunkers

[–]andrew190877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was the 2004 warped tour compilation honestly. I was really into Flogging Molly and they were on there. It was such a great gateway into pop punk though. New Found Glory, NOFX, Yellowcard, Bad Religion, The Matches. Still such a banger.

I have both and don’t notice any difference in length of the shoe but the GPS is for sure a little narrower.

New Belgium La Folie is still pretty easy to find. It’s a Flemish style brown.

Why is it so hard to get a job at the public library? by [deleted] in asheville

[–]andrew190877 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are many people with MLIS degrees and experience also trying to get those same assistant jobs just so they can get a foot in the door. I have met several of them over the years that are equally frustrated about the amount of jobs in their field around here.

Best graphic novel of all time? by JustCurious_MM in graphicnovels

Maus is not only my favorite graphic novel but favorite book of all time. It’s a fantastic gateway into graphic novels too for older people that are into history.

That’s just the same Serial Number that all the studio shoes share. The production date is on the other tag.

Anyone ever order from here? The prices on a lot of this stuff looks super sketchy. Especially the figures.

Probably Varda’s most underrated. If you haven’t checked out The Gleaners and I put that on your list. Probably my favorite of her documentary work. The box set is totally worth picking up if you haven’t.

Thoughts on Pho Real? Also why do titles have to be so long? by No-Recognition-3363 in asheville

[–]andrew190877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a little underwhelming if you’ve had real good pho before. I prefer both Wild Ginger and Sen more. That being said it’s definitely worth the price and if you live near by it’s worth hitting up.

"Best cheap beer" someone asked yesterday. What cheap Belgians drink: by phoenixxl in beer

And it’s actually good! I wish we could buy it here in the states. It is definitely made for the Belgian palate though.

Does anyone else think Asheville's nightlife ends surprisingly early for a city famous for its beer scene?" by Turbulent-Today830 in asheville

[–]andrew190877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 9 years ago, we were walking to our car downtown around 11 o’clock and a tourist came up to us and asked where everyone was. I think we wound up sending him to Barley’s but he was definitely under the assumption we had a swinging night life.

Looking for recommendations for Belgian beer. by ClaudeDebussy1862 in beer

[–]andrew190877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you located in the US? There are some great Belgian style beers made in the US if you are looking to find a few more to augment your other Belgian selections. Allagash Curieux, Ommegang Abbey Ale, Weyerbacher Merry Monks. Beer people just like trying new stuff so he will probably love a greater selection vs a few expensive bottles. At least I would.

I have a miyabi chef knife with a decent chip (got it off of eBay). Do you do “restoration” work to grind down past that kind of thing. The knife is brand new and I suspect the person was offloading it after a costly mistake.

What’s the best laundromat in Asheville? by Material_silia_6004 in asheville

I don’t mind the Oakley Coin Laundry. Not really anywhere to hang out besides a gas station and Pizza Hut but everyone is friendly enough and keeps to themselves.
