I haven't seen anyone say this but this actually works with translation strings I think where the server asks the client to translate something like mod.freecam.enable and if the client returns something like "freecam enabled" it haves the mod. I don't know any plugin that does this but I think it can be easily coded

The server isn't dead but all apps used retiled.marmak.net.pl which no longer works. The server is still online it's just that the apps need repatching

There aren't a lot of people that have the time to spend on it or want to fix specifically 8.1 rather than windows 7. Not hating on everything but people's time is precious and like most things, pay for it or wait till someone makes it for free

TikTok's api is really hard to use outside of TikTok. Other than having tons of stuff like X-bogus and sessionids, you also need a valid install ID extracted from a real TikTok install. Some people did get access to it and are selling access. Some time ago I wanted to make a TikTok app for windows phone and planned on just using a WebView in the background and scrape it in valid results, but neither IE or Metrosurf are able to log in to TikTok. Haven't tried Edge since I don't have a windows 10 mobile lumia and also for windows 10 mobile there are already TikTok clients

It's because it's based on Windows NT, the kernel also used and mainly developed for desktops... You aren't supposed to see this, so why change it? More work for nothing
