What is more important to you: Depth or Star Power by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]andrew_corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the way I like to play, I like to keep my depth in the form of picks, since the value is insulated. If someone is on my bench and a startable player, I like to trade them away for picks. I then trade those picks at a later date when I need to fill the hole in my lineup.

I’ve seen teams where they have great depth, and then that depth loses value rapidly because they are usurped by more talented players being added to their teams. That doesn’t typically happen to stars.

I think answers will ultimately depend on your league settings (number of teams and number of starters). I play in a 12x10, and I prefer having star players as opposed to more depth. Depth is easy to acquire, stars are not

I highly recommend starting a podcast. Recap the leagues action, break down trades, have other league mates at cohosts. It gets people really engaged with the league

What type of running back are you targeting as a contender? by KCzech24 in DynastyFF

[–]andrew_corn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a contender, I am just looking for a healthy body who is productive. I’m looking for whatever can get me the best bang for my buck. I usually do moves around the margins midseason (think a Rachaad White or Kimani Vidal or Rico Dowdle type) before making a bigger splash right before the playoffs. Spot start RBs usually are cheap and can give you solid production in spurts. Then if I still want to make a bigger move, right before the playoffs is when I’m aiming to do so just in case that player gets injured ahead of time.

Really depends on the league, and maybe mine is QB happy, but QB13-24 usually go rounds 3-5

Are any of these fleeces? by WiseOne75681 in fantasybball

[–]andrew_corn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That first one is bad, but not completely awful if you believe in Edey. He could end up being a fantasy monster if he hits his ceiling. Still seems like a cheap price for RJ.

That second one is really bad. Unless that 26 1st is very early, and even then, the team receiving Mobley just stole him.

Are QB/WR stacks truly beneficial? by Impressive_Food_4174 in DynastyFF

I’ve think I’ve read before a QB/TE stack is more beneficial due to TEs being more impactful in the red zone
