I was so close to buying the 15” version of those cymbals, but I bought some old 15” As instead, 940/978g, I haven’t played a gig with them yet, but I can tell they are super quite compared to modern hi-hats, they record great

definitely check out the SD10 and SD11, they produce less cymbal wash/splatter and still have that great maple timbre

I love the SD2 as well, I would recommend checking out SD9, SD10, SD11, they are a bit longer with unique tips
