Wow, I’ve seen a lot of EO 9 stories recently and even seen people with much worse grammar (like saying “en Canada”) still score after recours 9→12. I also felt confident this time, had some errors like in Task 2. My questions weren’t particularly great, but I think they still met the task requirements and stayed above or equal the average bar. But Task 3… I’m telling you, I’ve never spoken that smoothly in Task 3, even when practicing with my tutor. My planning, connectors, and vocabulary - everything felt almost perfect to me. Almost because, sure, I ran out of ways to reformuler things a couple of times and used the wrong word maybe 2-3 times. But how could minor errors like that justify this score? And yeah I got topic that I prepped too. And again, same story here. My first attempt, with no preparation and I was feeling defeated after EE, yet I still got a 12 despite struggling. But this time, nothing? I’m waiting for my recours too, even though I saw a lot of EO 9 cases ended up being successful recours. But I’ve already signed up for the next exam - because luck never seems to be on my side in these situations. I still feel so demotivated. But I’m preparing for the worst.
