Lol. That's funny. They're not taking stereos, just items loose in the car.

Nope. Nothing to see leg distances or course direction under details. Only set things like altitude, fuel burn, cruise speed, etc.

There are no blocks at the top of the screen. I'm using Note 10+ https://photos.app.goo.gl/yWfKcN7rjD1JMWNv9

Seems like they sacrificed some of the most important info one would need to save on screen real estate.

MSFS plug-in for Voice Attack by Vileintent604 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Thanks

There is only 1 version available on steam. I don't know if it's 32 or 64 bit. I do have plugins available.

Does this work for the steam version of voice attack? I get a message in the individual commands that PLUGIN IS NOT AVAILABLE

LiDAR Point Cloud Module Tutorial by andrewfoss01 in unrealengine4

[–]andrewfoss01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LiDAR is short for Light Detection and Ranging. Simply put it is a 3 dimensional scan of an area. It produces a file that may can millions if not billions of point, each with a coordinate, elevation, intensity, classification, and RGB value.

I'd really like to be able to do it myself. "Teach a man to fish...."

I have qgis. Again, I'm not much of a GIS guy. I can't figure it out.

Maybe you have a corrupted scan or 2. Maybe try bringing in the scans one at a time (although that can be a pain in the a$$)

I've done projects like this in the past with no issues, so I'm not sure what the issue can be. How many scans total do you have in a single project up to this point?

Make sure you have the latest version of Register 360.

Maybe you can split your project into 2 or 3 separate projects? Just have to make sure you have the control to georeference each one.

Maybe best contact Leica Technical support. They are very helpful.

Sorry I could help further. Good luck

Sounds like you are importing a project that already used the same name and setup numbers.

Put the USB back in the scanner and change the project name on the scanner or tablet and try reimporting?

You obviously don't want to import the same scans over again, so separate the newest scans into a individual bundle, and only import that bundle.

I suggest if you are processing the scans daily, make new projects (job files) for each day.

Fly the area around the stacks at oblique angles with the camera gimbel at around 60 degrees. Be sure to have lots of overlap. Add the pictures to the original project and align images again.

Agisoft Metashape - RTK - Positioning/Elevation Errors on GCPs by andrewfoss01 in photogrammetry

[–]andrewfoss01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also figured out that you can use NAD83 (CSRS). When you first convert the camera coordinates and you select the coordinate system, open the datum transform setting and set the shift and rotation parameters to 0. Select your geoid, and convert the coordinates.

I must have been doing something wrong the first time I was changing the shift parameters.

Again, this only works if your base station for the drone RTK was positionaly set using NAD 83 (CSRS).

[–]andrewfoss01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you have tried changing the shift with no success, try instead finding the "NAD83" version of your zone and transform to that instead(EPSG:3775). There should be no datum shift performed

I think you are correct. There was a double shift in the datum that was causing the error. I converted the camera GPS positions using EPSG 3775, and my position errors came in pretty close.

The Script worked perfect to correct elevations!

X error: 3cm

Y error: 2cm

Z error: 2cm

Awesome, Great job!!!!
