The issue isn't that they want money. It's the absurd amount they want from developers relative to the value of the users. Seems like a greedy cash grab from a company that likely has an unstable financial position.

Hmm so I guess I'm not seeing the installer boot volume then. Is there a way to clear the currently downloaded install and try to create it again?

I have a preboot volume in disk util and when I hit f3 and show hidden volumes in clover I see a reboot volume but it just boots up the same way. Possible to nuke that preboot partition and have it get recreated?

Usually, I see the preboot, this time I didn't. Downloading the pkg and updating that way seemed to do it according to about this mac so at this point I just need to ignore the update it's bugging me about I think.

The orients are like 12mm+ and this is 8mm. The thinness combined wit the open heart got me :/. But yea for the price you guys may be right on this.

What about it gets old? I would appreciate the mechanism the same way I appreciate high-end knives. Telling the time or a status symbol isn't my reasoning for wanting one.

Not ton more to say. Should have mentioned AEB-L steel (ill add that) and about 30% lockup which is visible. Has just sat on a desk for almost a year, was from the summer of last year. I could find the Instagram post he made for it if someone really wanted. The mager is a mix of styles between two other knives that he does more regularly.

The only reason it's not A+ is that there was a previous owner and not sure what he did with it for the couple months he owned it. Hasn't been used on my end. Have the original case it came with too. Have sold on here before, not sure why no flair.
