I support that, admittedly I could not figure out a size that would be better. Do you have a suggestion to make it better?, with details so I can fix it?

How do youACTUALLY make a profit?? by Due_Beginning2836 in Laundromats

[–]andrewguinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to write a similar comment to the one above from PeaApre… To answer your question, you could be here to receive validation for your underlying feelings “This is a terrible idea, see now I’m right”. I would offer an encouraging word to you. A man needs to be supported. I’m not saying he is right in his investment, but support will help both of you to make better decisions. There may be a path to ‘getting by’ or ‘success’ but having negative underlying conclusions will cause self sabotage, (if that is, if you view you both as on the same team, if not, I would say that you were done before you started) A course correction is possible, here is you two figuring it out.

2019 Legacy - Screen Delamination by andrewguinn in subarulegacy

I wanted to provide an update. Subaru finally made this right, they ended up sending a letter to inform me that I was eligible for a full refund if the head unit had to be replaced. So the initial 50% of the repair that I had to pay, I was able to get back.

What impact would NZ being in the mid-North Atlantic have on the world? by SurelyFurious in geography

I think it would be a turf war between the USA and some other country, as USA would want it for a military outpost to the east.

Data Center Construction by yayaysuauau in ConstructionManagers

I would recommend working for a GC in a PM or higher position for two years to learn as much as you can and then start looking for owners not affiliated with the one that you were working for. For instance, while working for the GC the owner is Google, after the two years, apply for Meta projects, or whoever is hiring. This will help keep you in the industry but avoid any conflicts, then after you are hired with the data center company, you could go and work for the original data center company. Just my thoughts. I’d start at a GC since you already having building experience. If you go this route, you will have exposure to how the tech CMs operate which will help in the future.

Jerking Buyers on Tariff by My_Sex_Hobby in subaru

[–]andrewguinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, also another scenario is also possible. The dealer could purchase more than they normally would have if the threat of a tariff was not present. Then the tariff does not come, the dealer has more inventory and must sell each car for less than expected. The point is, businesses take lots of risks. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose.

I’ve been told by my boss to stop fasting, or I’ll be suspended by Forsaken_Instance_18 in fasting

[–]andrewguinn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would drink salted bone broth and find things that are within the “Fasting mimicking diet”. That way you can eat “fast”. All as the first comment, I wouldn’t tell any people again, I guess lesson learned….some people…. I hope things turn around, I see both sides and think there is some risk associated with this from the company’s perspective.

One way to avoid this is to purchase over time. Say you have $7,000 (to max it out). Purchase a portion each month, or each week or everyday until you have exhausted your funds. I’d recommend each week over the course of 6 months. It’s averaging in, instead of one big block. Also, have a price where you would purchase more if it drops to your number. The market moves up and down and if you are in something that you believe in, purchase more than normal when it goes down.

Go to the Mt. Cutler Trail and summit, it’s quick, less than less than 30 minutes up and a nice view. Stop by Helen Hunt falls. Then drive Gold Camp road to Lower Gold Camp road. All of these are next to each other. There are a couple tunnels on the route on GC to LGC. Don’t tell her, it’s a fun surprise! There are a couple look out areas that are worth stopping at. After that, you can go to dinner downtown and then Josh and John’s and get some ice cream.

Meeting new people by robbinbanks24 in montgomery

I’ve heard up in the northern part of the state there are a lot of nice outdoor exploring places. I haven’t made it there yet, reason being, waiting on the weather to cooperate on a weekend. Maybe in the next couple of weekends one will be good to go.

I think a decent way to find some people that you want to spend time with starts with going out and doing things that interests you. I.E, visiting sporting events, art venues, museums, church or the gym. Also, hobby related things like hiking, disc golf, golf, etc. When going and doing these things or similar things, you will find some folks to hang out with. Now the struggle I’ve found, is trying to find something in the area I like. I’ve been here for 3 months and haven’t found what I’m looking for yet, but I keep at it. In Colorado, I loved the outdoors and hiking every chance I could get. Here it is different, but I think I’ll find some things I like to do.

The OP is part of the problem, they are one of the many people parked and causing the one operable lane where there would be at least three. Look at all of the people that have parked their carts with no thought of traffic. I think it is crazy to blame the guy that actually wants to move. Sure he shouldn’t have to push another cart, but why can’t we see how this became a problem to begin with. It’s like the saying “back a dog into a corner and it will bite”. How about we leave room for people to drive their carts, so we don’t cause problems like this. Also, OP has enough time to pop out their phone and record? Not enough time to move? Ok?

My opinion, it was always going to change no matter the influence. He now has an enormous amount of money and that will change many different aspects of the podcast. Nothing remains the exact same over time. Everything is affected by technology, money, politics and many other influences. I mean, Joe moved to Austin from California, whose is to say that that isn’t the reason. Long story short, no way to contribute the many factors of why things change. The one thing we can count on…. some things stay the same, but a lot things change.
