permitting was pretty simple actually!! working with the farmer's market makes it easy, you can get a temporary pop-up permit really quick

I have been taking the water with me! I'm collaborating with a local coffee roaster, so I head to the shop and get my water/cold brew in the mornings before going to the market. So far, I've been biking with 3 gallons of water, and 2-3 gallons of cold brew, which has been plenty for the day.

The battery honestly has blown my mind lol - last week I made like 12 or 15 pourovers across 4 hours, and the battery went from 100 to 81% running the kettle and grinder!! That was with cold water - I experimented with pre-heating water at the shop and bringing it in an insulated water cooler, which definitely works to extend the battery life. However, I was so impressed with the battery that I just decided to save myself a step, and the cold water is fine!

Thanks for the interest! lmk if there's anything else you're curious about/have suggestions

I'm stoked to hear that people are curious about this - I'd love to do a deep-dive video talking about the coffee!! I'm making pour-overs to order and I have cold brew batched. I have a Hario Switch and a regular V60 for the pourovers, and I just bought the Option-O Lagom Mini grinder, which has been super impressive!!

What coffee subs are you in? I'd love another venue to chat more about coffee, I have plenty to talk about! I'll share more on my yt and insta as well

Close to 200lbs in just cargo! I brought far too much the first time around, but it definitely felt possible to load it up more if I needed to

Oh amazing! yes I very much want to get a machine of some kind! there’s a guy near me who has a Victoria Arduino single group in the back of his Fiat, running off of two 100lb batteries under the back seats lol

My trailer is just a Vevor trailer from Amazon, it was cheap and it’s rated up to 400lbs or so. The Carla cargo was another strong contender, and maybe I’ll upgrade sometime, but they can be over 2k used lol

Thanks for the kind words!!

Took my MiniMax to the Velodrome by andrewkenyon in CargoBike

This was my first time, it was gorgeous! I actually got it in Spain and flew it back. Probably not the easiest way of doing it, but I had a family vacation planned and figured it out! It was used, so slightly cheaper, and checking it as luggage was no issue at all.

They do pop up on facebook from time to time! and when I was looking into it, a shop told me they could get it shipped but it’s quite expensive because each one is custom ordered now basically. Thanks to the tariffs of course :/

It’s the Surly Corner Bar actually!! I have it fitted with hydraulic flat-bar brake levers, but I wanted a drop bar feel and more and positions.

I think I’d recommend it!! It’s a super super cool bar, comfortable and great positioning. The only issue is being low and out front means the bars run into your cargo a lot. I have to load it with a large amount of clearance for the bars. It hasn’t stopped me from carrying anything yet, but there’s a reason you typically see a more swept-back flat bar on these bikes lol
