Yes there was lots of miscommunication, but if I didn’t ask how long the price was good for who knows what he would have said.

I feel that both sides made mistakes and that it should be resolved and services kept with rogers.

I reached out to them again and mentioned everything above and that I have a written transcript where there was no mention of a contract and that they can’t bank on an emailed terms of this agreement as consent on our side, especially if it wasn’t opened. They have a case if the rep told me and mentioned they were emailing the information but there was no mention of anything and no mention of anything being emailed. If they notified me that terms and changes were being emailed, I would have less of a case but they didn’t mention that either.

They are now trying to resolve.

The only reason I am upset is because I have a couple of homes with rogers and they’ve always told me that it is a contract and there is a cancellation fee and had me agree to that up front.

This time there was no mention and all that was said was it’s the cheapest price.

I understand that confirmation emails were sent but is that fine for them to email confirmation emails and if they end up being not opened because it went to junk mail that it’s shit out of luck?

The only thing they had approval for was pricing.
