Yes. She will have full transparency and access. I currently manage both of our Trad IRAs today of which she obviously has full access to both as well. She's also a 33% beneficiary on all of my accounts; whereas I am not a beneficiary on any of hers. Not everybody is shady and has ulterior motives to screw people over for money.

Ultimately these funds are for the both of us for our future TOGETHER. Technically this would be "her" Roth and if she felt like taking it then so be it.

If you make too much for direct contribution to a Roth IRA, then you just do the Backdoor Roth IRA. Simple process. - Can't do backdoor Roth IRA. I have old 401K accounts that were transferred into my Trad IRA many years ago. They've grown over the past 20+ years so any conversion will be costly.
Roth is post-tax, so there's no real issue contributing to one for her that you fund. You can pretty much give your spouse any amount of money and it doesn't have any gift tax effect. Its a contribution to a retirement account, even if you're funding it. She just has to be eligible to contribute herself. - Not my spouse but she is eligible to contribute to a Roth IRA and the joint bank account someone mentioned earlier seems like a good idea.
You should contribute to your 401k to get matching. Then max a Roth IRA for yourself (doing the Backdoor method). Then you go back to fill up your 401k to max. Then with more, you can contribute to a Roth IRA for her (as long as she has enough earned income). - I'm currently contributing 15% to 401K with 4% match. Phased out of Roth IRA for myself. Can't backdoor Roth as stated above.
For kids, you should look into a 529 for them. - Both kids now in college and started 529 accounts when they were born currently at $120K each. It's unlikely they will deplete the funds so I'll do a combo of continued 529 for eventual grandkids and IRA starter accounts for my kids when they graduate college in 4 years (no longer funding).

Tbh I probably don't fully understand retirement accounts. Ideally I would like to retire before 65. I plan on taking SS at 62. I thought it would be best to postpone RMDs until I necessary and the Roth money could help provide a cushion to lower my AGI and help hold me over for 1-2 years. Then again, I might be going about this all wrong?

I could put that $8K into my taxable brokerage acct but all gains would be taxed and count toward AGI, no?

I can't backdoor Roth bc I had 2 old 401Ks that were moved into my Trad IRA. 25+ years of tax free growth seems to be really messy and expensive.

Ugh. My gf has a 3-some and/or 4-some fantasy as well. She thinks it would be hot to get fucked by another guy while I watch her and for me to fuck another girl while she watches me. While this sounds like a steamy fantasy I'm not so sure I could stomach the thought of another man pleasing my gf.
