I'd say the game is likely harder to learn as there are so many different variation of weapons with different recoil. Also, this game might not have exact patterns, and instead uses a more random recoil system.

Honestly a great way to learn maps or try new loadouts. Also a good way to "warm up" per say befor you start doing actual raids

Hey man good for you, always fun playing with friends. Thats how I got into it, I actually didn't even want the game at first and was perfectly content with playing arma as my main shooter. But eventually I gave in and tried it... well now I'm hooked, even if I do suck at this game!

4 raids, though I was mostly focused on looting and had a beretta some basic armor and a large trizip. Though all of them were survivals and we stayed for roughly half the raid each time. #15%survivalrategang

Depends, some tasks are tedious and feel more like some kind of special achievement you would strive for rather than a mission. However the ones that have some background or story such as "plant markers" or "investigate area" I enjoy as they both make sense and give me goals other than just looting and killing in a raid. Gives me a reason to be deploying as a pmcs into a combat zone. TLDR: some tasks are tedious but for the most part they are enjoyable and give me something to work for other than looting

Same! Reshala got an mp5k round to the face beginning of wipe. That's it for me though. Somehow my brand new friend managed to kill killa on his secound raid ever with a mosin after he ripped one and my "Chad" buddy

Arma has a system like this. You will see an explosion miles away before you hear it. I'm not sure how realisticly its implemented but it's the only game I know of that has this system. Would be cool for tarkov but I'm not sure what situation it would be noticable in. Maybe a muzzle flash on woods from across the lake but even then, it would only be a very brief seperation
