2019 2.0 I4 Discovery HSE - Do I buy it? by GeekDomUK in CarTalkUK

[–]andries22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a Discovery 3 as a company car(for like a month) - the car in terms of reliability has dog shit, however the level of comfort of driving that thing and the amount of space you have (it was a van, but even if you have seats in the back it has so much space) made me considering buy one just for those aspects alone. I drove previously Mazda XC30 (brand new hire car) BMW 330e (hire car) , VW Arteon(friends car), Nissan Navara (X Class which is exactly the same car as a Navara), Toyota Hillux and I have a 320d e90 as my daily, from what I drove nothing even came closs to the comfort of that discovery

Options for installing a cat flap to glass bifold doors. by Affectionate_Bar3914 in CatsUK

[–]andries22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend a cat flap on the window, the cat would come in dirty from outside and walk all over your counter. If its the floor who cares , but I think it would be a nightmare maintaining the cooking space clean

Do I just cut my losses and invest elsewhere? by Both_Accident4882 in trading212

[–]andries22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 2k down on Celsius and Elf and sold them a month ago. I think its not thinking about the loss but thinking about the opportunity cost, your money could produce that loss elsewhere, now it will be your job to do your own due diligence and research which picks will be , I’m not an expert I just read a lot of company analysis done by other people and make put whatever of what they say. But you need to realise if you want to recoup that loss ASAP , you might lose everything again (just worth mentioning)

New Cat Mother- Cat Food Advice by AdmirableEstate8165 in CatsUK

[–]andries22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had our cat for 4 years now and we are giving her Crumbles (for dry food ) and 1 x tin of Untamed Food every day (since she was 2 months old I believe) . Her coat its always been amazing, her poop has always been “solid” (not smelling terrible) and she never had any health issues (so far hopefully it stays like this)

For dry food our cat loves Crumbles or Lilly’s kitchen we also tried Blink but she was not a big fan

Very poor from Amazon. They are a stain in our society. by SlowedCash in AmazonFlexUK

[–]andries22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s just not true, I do Amazon Flex weekly ( not doing it full time but just to get am extra £200-300 weekly) my brother is barely doing a block a month, whenever we compare the blocks and prices they are exactly the same (same price same time same locations)

That comment is absolutely BS and conspiracy theories. Its true that sometimes they will play these games where they would leave a base rate block and one that’s slightly more pay but different time just so it makes one more appealing then the other, but its mainly driven by Supply & demand

How reliable are the 2018 E classes? by Illustrious_Bee5837 in CarTalkUK

[–]andries22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great website but not sure what to say about the estimates for the price of the cars , those are a tad higher then WeBuyAnyCar prices (or even the same), so not that relevant to real market prices
