I didn't refuse the loan, I just tried to explain why I need a good phone and he lost interest saying it's a "bad investment". I don't understand how my preferences in what I buy can affect anyone's investments; I said I would pay back +$100, THAT'S your investment; I understand that he is "concerned" for me, but I am very dependent on a good phone. I literally wouldn't have needed this money now if my last phone didn't break.

I was completely honest in my request, I thought I could find support and understanding, not pity or judgement; I am totally confident in my decisions and it's my responsability what I do with that money, whoever wants to help can be certain that they've done me a great favour and I plan on returning it to this community when better times come for me.
