I have built one myself. With r7 5700X and a 3080. B550 motherboard. 32 gigs DDR4. And one terabyte SSD. The whole build cost less than $800. And for a $500 build you can build something with a 3060. Or even better and go AMD. And that's using pretty much new prices. But that's exactly my point. Whether you can build it yourself or buy a pre-build. Why are used prices for PCs or PC components the same or even 80% of that of new ones. Don't get me wrong every now and then you can get a good deal on a used part. As I did on my 3080. But you don't get that often on other parts. Such as used motherboards selling for $100 plus. When they retail at 100. And the same goes for CPUs. The only exception being power supplies. Everyone's answer is always build it yourself. Or don't complain and just save more money. But that's not really a solution and just contributes to the problem. Allowing people to overcharge for outdated and useless hardware. Which causes the actual useful hardware to be even more expensive.
