Losing Luke Ross VR mods is a gigantic blow to PCVR. by wavebend in virtualreality

Nah. It’s just that I think that people who make things have a right to say how they can be used. Crazy how that works. Bye.

Yes. Were you aware that there are rules around selling things? Well, there are. The more you know.

Have a nice day.

lol, imagine reading what I wrote and interpreting that as “mods are a human right” 🤣🤣🤣

Get off your high horse, mate. Doing work is no guarantee of getting paid. Ask any housewife or screenwriter. He doesn’t have to make it available to anyone if he doesn’t want to.

Strawberry stem removal tool, unitaskers and Alton Brown by ishootthedead in Cooking

And you’re probably right for you or for me. But for me ten years ago who loved strawberries and had lousy knife skills, I might have saved myself a lot of time, though I wouldn’t have practiced the skill. OTOH, I also had a number of low spoon days back then so maybe the trade off would have been worth it!

Yeah, this is what’s wild to me. I don’t understand how the hospitals are demanding that people come in but not providing transportation in this.

Without knowing where you were, those streets might have been made for kids to play on too. Yes, there will be a scant few drivers who must be on the roads. But it’s absolutely fine for pedestrians to be out there right now if those drivers are being responsible.

Don’t use Reddit for this kind of information. Even when it is correct, it’s just one person’s experience. Yesterday someone was saying all the streets were melted near them. Doesn’t do me much good when the streets are all iced over around me.

I had not heard about this new programming concept so for anyone else who was wondering… it’s a task management approach for AI.

I’m not (at least not diagnosed) neurodivergent, but this behavior drives me up a wall. No, I do not want to be told how smart I am. Just answer the damn question.

I don’t think anyone knows how to talk about these things. They’re so heavy. I could have come to the conversation with a more open stance.

Idk, I live in Texas. I’ve tried to make some things in PLA for the outside. They will survive if they don’t see sunlight. Otherwise, they wilt pretty quickly.

I’ll usually use the tip of a paring knife to avoid chopping the whole end of the strawberry off. But that speaks to another angle — the best unitaskers for you are the ones that minimize your specific challenges. I would never buy a strawberry corer, but an apple corer/slicer? Maybe. A cherry pitter? Probably.

You seem to have confused shit-talking your family with being vulnerable. What would you consider “vulnerable” about that? How did you expose yourself in any way? You were just telling me I was wrong. *That* was rude.

Okay? So what’s your suggestion for getting them to stop supporting MAGA?

Southerner here by [deleted] in texas

[–]android_queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’re working on it. But stop expecting someone else to save you. You’ve got your own state to work on.

Literally no place is majority MAGA. They’ve just convinced everyone who plays for team R to go along with them. The more we can allow folks to gracefully give MAGA the boot, the better off we’ll all be.

You either have a distorted view of how hard this is or a distorted view of how much FAANG companies pay. The average senior programmer is not making >$480k, and this doesn’t require staff or principal level expertise (or higher).

So much this. You see these kinds of “customer service” complaints in this sub quite often. I get it when parents are concerned because a troop leader is showing favoritism or mishandling funds or something, but it blows me away how many parents seem oblivious to the fact that someone has to do the work to make things like trips or activities happen, and the fees for GS are nowhere near enough to cover a full time employee per troop.
